How to Watch Apple's WWDC 2024 Keynote on June 10

The 2024 Worldwide Developers Conference will take place the week of June 10 to June 14, and like the last four years, it will be an online event, although select developers and students will be invited to Apple Park. To kick things off, Apple holds a keynote event on the Monday to announce new software, which is what makes it of interest to the general public.

During the keynote event on Monday, June 10, Apple is expected to unveil iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS 15, tvOS 18, watchOS 11, and visionOS 2. The company is also likely to announce new artificial intelligence features collectively called Apple Intelligence, a heavily rumored partnership deal with OpenAI, and possibly more besides.

You can watch the WWDC 2024 keynote event using one of the methods outlined below. The live stream is set to start at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time from Apple Park in Cupertino, California. We have a full list of when the event will begin in other time zones in the United States and around the world.

Watch the Keynote on YouTube

Watching the WWDC keynote on YouTube may be one of the quickest and easiest ways to catch the event because YouTube is generally available on most devices, including TV sets and consoles.


The YouTube live stream above will be accessible on June 10 when the event kicks off.

Watch the Keynote on Mac, iPhone or iPad

You can watch the WWDC keynote on any Mac, iPhone, or iPad using Apple's native Safari browser or another browser like Chrome. iOS devices must be running iOS 10 or later, and Macs need to be running macOS Sierra 10.12 or later to access the stream.

Watch the Keynote Using the Apple TV App

You can watch the WWDC keynote via Apple's TV app on Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV, with the link in the TV app becoming available on the day of the event or just before.
  1. Open the TV app on your chosen device.
  2. Scroll down the Watch Now category and select WWDC 2024. Alternatively, type "WWDC" into the Search field and select WWDC 2024 from the results.
  3. Click Play.
The app may tell you to tune in at your local time to watch the event live prior to when the WWDC keynote begins.

Watch the Keynote on a Windows PC

If you don't have an Apple device handy, you can still watch the WWDC 2024 keynote on a PC running Windows 10 or later. Open Microsoft Edge browser and follow this link to the WWDC 2024 Livestream.

While Apple offers no guarantees, other platforms may also be able to access the WWDC 2024 keynote using recent versions of Chrome or Firefox (MSE, H.264, and AAC codecs/extensions must be installed).

Watch in the Apple Developer App or Developer Website

Apple also plans to stream the keynote in the Apple Developer app, and on the Apple Developer website, making it impossible for Apple fans and developers to miss the event.

I’m gonna watch it through the Apple Developer app, on my M2 iPad Pro, on an external display.

On the iPad Screen, MacRumors forums.
 
Here are my predictions for the keynote tomorrow:

It will open with a video of how Apple is helping making people’s life better. Than a video of saving someone’s life with the Apple Watch.

Tim Cook shows up and is telling to be soooo excited to be here. Saying that Apple has things to show that are sooooo amaaaaazing and you only see coming from Apple.

Again a video of all kind of apps developed by companies. And Tim Cook showing up again telling that it was only possible to do so with the help of Apple.

(One hour has past and nothing really new has been shown).

Tim Cook announces that he were turning to Greg.

Greg pulls some funny stuff and announces that we will see some amaaaazing stuff.

He will begin with iOS and everything already bespoken here is shown… dark mode on Home Screen, icons you can order in different ways, mails with auto replies, autofill for pages/notes and making slides in keynote. Everything google and Microsoft have already shown, except it will be available in another update and be available for iOS, macOS and iPadOS.

Then come the announcement about Siri working with open ai. We will get a new video. Something like googles bart showing last year in googles I/o. You hear him saying he’s thrilled with these amaaaazing possibilities and will be coming at the end of this year. Back to Tim!

Tim: I’m so thrilled to see what Apple has to offer. We’re so proud of what we have to offer and there are so much more amaaaaazing things in the pipeline I can’t talk about right now…. But I’m so excited. Now back to watch os!

We will be shown a new video with people in distress and how Apple Watch was a lifesaver. Than we will see some new watchfaces, rainbow 🌈 faces and some minor tweaks for health. Over to Tim!

Tim: Amaaaazing how Apple products save people’s life. Some emails of customers will be shown of how grateful they are. Tim: that’s not all! We are thrilled to announce we’ve some amaaaazing new watch bands to come with it. New colors and pcb free. You’ll only see this coming from Apple.

Tim announces: let’s recap!
Everything shown and spoken before will be brought to your attention in high speed again.

Tim is soooo excited. He will tell that these are the biggest upgrades Apple has ever had. He will be talking about what Apple is be doing for the environment and that apples goal is to be co2 free by 2030. (No Word on not upgradable or repairable devices)

He thanks all the members of his teams and he will tell you that this will be the biggest event in apples history. All of the things we showed will be coming later this year and the ai related things will only be able to work on our latest devices.

Years ago, watching WWDC was exciting like a new movie release. Jobs could manage the entire program alone. Sometimes 4-5 people came on stage to do the presentation. Now there are 10+ with pre-recorded “perfect “ videos. When Steve had to ask audience to switch off their wifi to make the presentation smoother, that was part of life.

Maybe it was my shift to Android earlier this year, but I'm not too terribly excited for the Keynote tomorrow. Really the only Apple stuff I have left is the Mac, Ipad, Apple TV, Airpods (Though I might get the Samsung versions after July) and Homepod. Tomorrow will be Apple catching up with everyone else in the AI Space and I hope they are successful. I really care about the Mac and Apple TV stuff and Apple TV is treated like such an afterthought I'm not expecting much. I wish I used my Ipad more but that's really browsing the internet and watching sports so I don't know what else I need. Also, since I just bought the Samsung, I need to teach myself not to get excited about what Iphone has to offer.

Steve really talked about something. He made the wwdc interesting and was more about substance then show. Today’s 2 hour wwdc is first a recap from half an hour how good Apple products are in day life. In my opinion they can skip those parts because any good product doesn’t need that kind of attention. So they can shorten the conference by 1,5 hour 😂😂

Been watching the many Apple Keynotes for the past 10 years, and it’s generally been pretty fun.

I know most of us have high hopes for tomorrow’s presentation. I very much look forward to the Keynote itself and the discussion afterwards here.

Really curious which devices will lose software update support this year. If there’s no hardware announced, that should give them plenty of time to go over everything in decent detail.

I think they’re going to lean heavily into the integration of Apple products with traditionally analogue creative endeavors like music performance, painting and others. They want to wash the bad taste of that Crush ad out of their mouths. They also don’t want to reinforce the message that AI is coming to steal and then squash your creativity in a keynote where they’re introducing their new AI integration. They have a fine tightrope to walk. People are already unhappy. Apple needs to win them back.

I'm not able to watch live from the start. What are the options to re-watch from the beginning (most probably while the live stream is still ongoing) spoiler-free?

It will be interesting to see if they finally drop Intel support for MacOS including rosetta. :rolleyes:
 
Does the Event already show up in your AppleTV App on ATV or iPhone?

I can`t see it. And also the Last Event was not showing up for me and I had it to watch on Youtube. Normally it showed up already a day or so in advance.

I don’t think it was ever that exciting, objectively. I think it was exiting to folks that found these sorts of things exciting, but that was most likely youthful exuberance.
