How to watch photos stored in a NAS?

Hello,
Being a Mac El Capitain user, I store all my photos under Apple Photo.

I have just bought a Qnap TS-251+ NAS and I would like to share my photos in my local network copying the Photo library to the NAS (the original library would be kept on the Mac).

Actually the idea was to sync the Apple Photo library from the Mac to the NAS in order to keep the NAS version up to date.

I also have ATV4 and I would like to watch the photos stored on the NAS on the ATV4 without having to keep the Mac on.

Has anyone managed to do that? What shall I do?
