How to? Watch taptic notification without phone notification sound

Hi! As described in the title, is there any way to have all of these?
- get taps from my watch for, example, instagram notifications
- have the phone vibrate or not for those instagram notifications, but with no sound whatsoever?
- but still get ringtone for calls

Turning sound off in the phone, makes the watch not have vibrations/taptic for that app

You can turn sound off on the watch instead. That will make it still vibrate but not make any sound. That’s how mine is setup right now.

However now the iphone will have sound and the watch will have taptic.
Is it possible to remove the iphone notification sound, while keeping the ringtone?

If you’re wearing the watch and carrying the phone in the pocket, the phone doesn’t make any sound.

Correct. My problem is way more complicated. At home I take off my watch and use my ipad. Then while talking to people on the ipad, the iphone rings for every single (instagram or else) message. Which is really annoying..

Now you’ve changed the problem altogether. your issue was with the watch initially.

Can I make my phone still make text sounds while wearing the watch? Or is it silenced for texts? I have the watch silenced and get the vibrate but no sound from phone. It rings on a phone call but no text sound.
