I have a 2007 MacBook that I want to wipe my information off of. Command + R does NOT work for this laptop's age. And I do not have any disks that may have come with it. Can I still wipe the hard drive? And also re-install whatever needs to be re-installed for the thing to work?

One way you could do it is create a new admin user, reboot, log into the new admin user, and then delete all other users.

Not a complete wipe, but it's a start.

Or else get your hands on the install disc from somewhere and just reinstall the OS.
