hi folks i want to send some zip files from mac to a p.c. user, will os x zip utility be p.c. friendly, if not can anyone please give me advice on a suitable program. Thank you

Just select the files, right-click (or Control-click) and select "Compress x items". The zip file that will be created is fully compatible with both Mac OS X and Windows.
