How upgrade JB iphone 4

Hey guys.. I have. JB iphone 4 ,ios version 4.0

It recently was acting wierd so i guess its time to upgrade it... I never done it before so i was wondering what steps i should take..

Should i connect to itunes.. Upgrade to latest and jailbreak again? If I go that way will I keep all the current apps, layout etc...

How do we jb the new versions? I did this at jaikbreakme.com

iPhone 5 isn't out yet so how do you 'upgrade' your iphone 4? Unless you mean updating your firmware?

I'm not usually one of those that comes on here just to say "Google it", but in this case I think you just need to go back to the top of the iPhone Hacks forum and look at the stickies at the top. Those that have gone before you have left a ton of information for your benefit and you should take advantage of that. If you're not a fan of reading through threads and want something more streamlined, go to iclarified and find the "how to jailbreak iPhone X on firmware y with tool z".

Bottom line, you have to invest a little but you'll learn a lot.
