How useable is Dreamweaver 8 on Intel Macs?

I'm not sure if I want to go through the hassle and expense of buying an educational copy of Adobe's web collection, especially since I don't use Dreamweaver more than about once a week right now.

Is 8 useable on Intel hardware?
