im not sure if I'm being too OCD, but the lines on my air pods are pretty visible and pretty ugly. I'm talking about where the two parts meet and are glued together

Yeah mine seem to have some finish issues as well in different places on both AirPods. Not sweating it but it is very un-Apple. My JB iPhone 7 had a minor flaw as well. Again, not sweating it but I guess that's what happens when you turn out millions upon millions of devices. Some flaws make it through QA/QC.
I can see them if I look for them. But there's no gaps there or anything. TBH I'm not even worried about it. If their not in my ears, their in the case. So really their never to be seen.
EarPods have the same seam, but we were distracted by the ugly cords. If there were a way to invisibly join two pieces of already-formed glossy white plastic, I'm thinking Apple would have already invented it.
my lines are pretty bad, i'll try to post a pic tomorrow. i think i'm returning mine. just placed another order from BB. hopefully they arrive soon so i can return my to verizon within 14 days
I already did, by asking you a question, which you apparently didn't answer clearly. That said, what's the issue with creating a thread about a concern? Last I checked, this is a form for discussion, answering questions and offering feedback. Which you haven't done any of those.
OP: If the glue on the EarPods is not a major concern, it's likely fine. But if it starts to separate or become an issue, then I would contact Apple.
You guys are insane. Sorry, everyone is thinking it and it had to be said. Unless your airpod is falling apart dangling by a piece of glue, maybe spend your time doing other stuff than staring at plastic with a microscope.
Mine are like that too. It's a bit annoying but something I'll probably live with.

I don't stare at them, they are either in my ear or in the case. In both of those instances it can't be seen. They have a one year warranty so if 'Glue Gate' happens then I'll exchange them..

Can you see it when they're in your ears? No! Not an issue. Better order more than one more pair because I'm sure none of them will meet your expectations.
Didn't notice them, won't let it bother me though. Seems silly to return over this.

Mine are the same - seems to be on everyone's photo the right ear? Although to confuse us in the pictures some people put it to the left....
Mine are great, the only time I noticed the line is when this thread was posted, so cant be that bad. Also, it's easier to make out right from left now without putting my glasses on It's an Apple feature
