Recently, I installed Windows 10 in a VM, and playing around with it, I realized the Cortana worked rather well. It properly recognized nearly everything I said. I never had that experience using the Dictation feature in OS X, on the same Macbook Air. It normally takes about three tries before it gets what I'm saying. I've even downloaded the Enhanced Dictation package that was about 1.5 gigs, and I've seen no improvements. Dictation on my iPhone has always worked almost flawlessly, (Apple's 5% error rate seems to be accurate in my use). Even on my Apple Watch, dictation, even in scenarios with lots of noise, get it right more times than not.I should also note that my Macbook Air doesn't have a Duel Mic, just a mono one. Apple started putting duel mics into the Airs in 2013 Anyone else have similar experiences to me?
