I plan on getting the new MacBook Air refresh and I'd imagine 13" MacBook Pro users here have the best idea regarding HD 3000 performance and older Source games.

Can I run those games at native resolution and max settings? I know the HD 3000 is pretty weak but Half-Life 2 and Counter-Strike Source are two really old games. The reason I ask is because Counter-Strike is all I play on the PC and I leave everything else to my Xbox 360.

To give you an idea, I have a 2010 i7 15", and on the integrated intel graphics (slightly below the 3000), both those games are only playable on medium/low under OSX. Under windows, I expect the performance to be med/high, but I can only use the 330m under Windows.

That is pretty disconcerting for a game that was released 7 years ago. I guess I shouldn't expect much from a laptop with integrated graphics but the game is so old. I guess I have to live with medium settings since I gotta have my OS X. :D
