I must admit I am not very knowledgeable on computer hardware  I am getting a new MacBook and my friend convinced me to play Diablo 3 on it. Getting the new 13" 128GB Air, will I be able to play Diablo 3 on high graphics settings?

On a similar note I'm curious how well it can run 1080p movies?

1080p movies = fine.
Diablo 3 on high = nope nope nope.

If you want a gaming machine your best bet is a Pro :)

Damn. I do most of my gaming on my PS3, so the slimness is almost more important to me. But in medium settings I hope it'll be okay then?

It sucks the new retina pro has to be so expensive though, that would've been perfect. Here in Denmark it's like 2900 bucks. I would get it for 2200 in a heartbeat

Thanks for the reply though

I use my 2011 11" (128Gb, but base processor) to play D3, and while I couldn't tell you what the settings are at, the resolution is at native and it runs about 30-35 fps (drops to 25-ish after an hour or two because of thermal throttling, or something like that) so I would imagine the new-er Air's could only be better!

Nice, sounds promising. I'll be getting mine Monday or Tuesday, can't wait!
