I previously had a Mac Mini running my 20" Dell 2005fpw without a problem. Sold both and now i'm looking at picking up a refurb Macbook or Macbook Pro. Specifically I'm waiting for the 1k Black Macbook (2ghz C2D, 120gb HD, Super), but I kept missing it this week.
Anyway, I now have an Acer 24" LCD (1920x1200) and I know the Macbook can handle the resolution, just curious how well it handles it. Is there noticeable slowdown when using core animation? (dashboard, expose, etc...) Not planning to play any games, I know i'll be just as limited as my Mini.
