OK, so I'm going to get around boosting the RAM in my eMac to 1.25 GB (purchasing a single 1 GB module to save money and see how it performs, first) and replacing the optical CD-ROM drive with a SuperDrive (it's the 2004 version, so the upgrade shouldn't be as risky as the older version), and I figured in all this I might as well install the Mac Box Set on it (Mac OS X Leopard, iLife and iWork '09), to help give this eMac more new life (it already works pretty well, but here I might want to take advantage of additional RAM).

Now, I know that even with the G4 hack, iMovie '09 will NOT work with this eMac. It has an ATI Radeon 9200 graphics card (32MB discrete VRAM), and though it's Quartz Extreme-compatible, iMovie '08 and '09 will not support this. (Though I could've sworn I heard of some kind of hack that lets iMovie '09 run on non-core graphics cars like this) But the thing is, how well does iMovie HD 6 work with the newer iPhoto, iDVD, etc? For example, I want to make a DVD with chapter marks and stuff like that (iMovie '09 can do this, but as I said, it will not run on the eMac) before handing the finished project to iDVD. How well would this work? (iLife '09 sounds tempting to me, and the features in the new iPhoto and iDVD and GarageBand (though I don't care about the Learn to Play stuff) seem to exceed the features in iLife '06, which I currently use on my eMac).
