I saw one today in an Apple store for the first time and it looked really grubby (off white) the salesman said it was the lighting and outside it would look much whiter.

true or BS?

I have a white IP4 and "grubby" is the last adjective I would ever use to describe the color. Do you know how many shades of white there are? And what would you call the different shades?

I find the IP4 to be a ceramic white. Thats not a bright flashy white. You can call it off white or not the shade you want but you didn't get a contract with apple to consult on shades of color so tough.

If you don't like white don't get one.

It's white enough... Go away.

So not really white?...more a gruby old greyish white?...why is white so difficult?...why not a proper dazzling white?

I was in an apple store today. It's white. I don't see the concern here. It's white. Maybe it's a shade of white. But does it really matter? I'm sure they experimented with different shades of white. What a racist topic! :)

OP you saw it ya weirdo. What more do you want? Trust your eyes and move on.

True.

My friend's white iPad has started looking more yellow. Pretty disgusting really.

Black is always the best and safest way to go!
