Does anyone know how contacts and other information that is synced from itunes currently now on the first generation iphone get moved over to the 3G iphone, i'm hoping i wont have to re enter all of my contacts once i get the 3G iphone.
 
:confused: this is confusing, is this not obvious?

sync with itunes with the old phone, sycn with itunes with the new phone, done...
just set up itunes to sync info...
 
iTunes keeps a backup of your phone, and it will probably ask you something like "do you want to transfer the information from (insert name of old iPhone here) to this device?" And then you can switch it over.

Thanks! This will make the transition to the new iphone 3G much easier on friday.
