How will E-Sim work with Apple Watch

I'm curious as to how e-sim is going to work with the Apple Watch. If I have two phone (which I do) and one of them is paired to my Apple Watch, how will it work when e-sim is enabled? My plan is to only have one phone when it goes live. Will the watch work with whichever line I want since it will be the same device?

Anyone have any ideas?

Your watch is "Number-synced" to you phone/phone number. Different SIM, ie different phone number likely won't work.
