How will iPhone on Verizon affect other phone OS?

Will manufacturers take things to new extremes on a quicker scale?

Will the Droid phones be a distant memory?

What about iOS vs Android vs BB market share?

Will T-mobile and Sprint get the best of the latest devices based on fact that Verizon will now iPhone?

Just some questions I would like to hear your opinions on. :)

Android won't become a distant memory. People longing for a great call network and an iPhone will switch. Some will switch back to the Android platform after the new toy glow wears off.

I didn't ask will Android be a distance memory, I said the Droid. It was Verizon's flagship phone just like the iPhone was to ATT. Now that has changed, and I doubt that Verizon would put the Droid over the iPhone when marketing it.

The main reason people get Android on Verizon it's because sales people claimed that "it's just like an iPhone." Now maybe they will say, you want the iPhone? We GOT the iPhone.
