How will screen protectors work for iPhone 6 and 6+?

Since the new iPhone 6 and 6+ have curved edges around the perimeter of the screen, how would screen protectors be made for them? I wonder if tempered-glass screen protectors will come with similarly curved edges that fit perfectly over the original screen and the edges? Even with the new "ion-strengthened" glass, I suspect that the screen would still be somewhat susceptible to scratches...

I'm thinking they would only adhere to the flat part of the display and leave the rounded edges exposed. Yes it will be ugly but that's the price you pay for protection.

I'm not going to bother. I love the feeling of a naked iPhone.
