It seems as if we don't have the ability to unlock our phones to a certain notification using Touch ID at this point. Is it something thats yet to come? Or is it just not possible?

Good question. Do you think holding the notification whilst unlocking with fingerprint could work? Just thinking of ideas.

Slide as you would normally do on the notification and then use Touch ID when the usual passcode entry screen shows. I believe this is the current way to do it.

I feel like at that point you might as well put in the passcode

I have a complex passcode, so it's quicker to use Touch ID. I feel like if you're using Touch ID, you might as well as have a complex passcode, rather than a simple 4 digit one. Kinda defeats the purpose of Touch ID when someone can easily guess 4 digits and bypass it.
