I would like to know the process of getting a new iPhone.

I figure I will sell my iPhone for $500 or so and pay the ETF with that money and then buy an unlocked iPhone 5.

Though I just figured out that Rogers (my carrier) offers upgraders a discount??

Could someone please explain to me? Have you ever upgraded from one iphone to another and how did it go, did it cost you less or more

You'll have to check with your carrier. ATT, for example, has and upgrade option on their website. If your contract is about up, you get a healthy discount. If not, it can cost up to around $600 to move up.

Right now, for example, I can upgrade my 10month old 3GS to an iPhone 4 (32gig) but it's gonna cost me $549 and another 2 years on my contract.

you seriously bumped your own post because it wasn't answered within 19 minutes of posting? seriously?

as for your question, ask your carrier for the exact details. first hand info is infinitely more valuable than conjecture... especially from forum users who are too lazy to respond to you on your schedule.

Guys, im not doing anything illegal. Curiosity got the best of me, that's all.

I already explained that im not going to commit fraud.

I do however, plan on selling the phone to pay for most of the ETF. Which is legal.

You understand from your previous threads that no one can take you seriously in here from now on?
