Non-wifi versions

I have not played with a non-wifi model of the ipad, so I'm sorry if this the answer to my question is common-knowledge:

Do we have the option to turn off the 3G/4G radios when not in use? I'd assume so since there was a mention about being able to track data usage.

I'd like to have it off and not running down battery when I'm connected over wifi.

Thanks in advance.

Yup. You can turn the cellular radio off.

Well what did you expect? Could you seriously not find that yourself?

Make a stupid thread get stupid answers ;)

My 4S says I'm on 4G now...but I'm not. So it's really not a dumb question...in fact, your answer is wrong as indicated above.

So going forward on the new iPad, the cellular indicators will be:
4G = HSPDA+
LTE = 4G

Makes sense... o.0
