The 4S is identical to the Verizon iPhone 4.

Except with a sim card slot
I plan to take advantage of this. I'm buying a 4s, opening the box and swapping it with my iPhone 4 and then selling it as a 'barely used iPhone 4s' for a high price on Craigslist or eBay! Instant profit!

There's an easier way to find out:
- unlock iPhone
- go to Settings
- tap on General
- select About
- look for Serial Number
- apply the following rule:
1. If the 7th character is letter B, M, P, S, or Z, then it's iPhone 4
2. If the 7th character is none of the above letters but the 9th letter is D, then it's iPhone 4
3. If the last 2 characters end in ZZ, ZT, ZS, then it's iPhone 4
4. Finally, if none of the above matches, then it's iPhone 4S

That's easier than checking for Siri?

Until someone tests it out and sees if it has Siri.

How about it just saying 4s on the back
It reminds me of that rhyme everyone always uses to tell how many days are in each month. I always think, "That would help, if it wasn't so freaking random"![]()
