Hello, my iPad Air 4th generation is still on iPadOS 17.7.2, I would now like to update it to have the latest security updates considering that now iPadOS 18 is 6 months old since it was released. Can someone with an iPad Air 4th generation tell me how the performance is on this version? Did it slow down? Thank you

I found that 18.4 is the best version of 18 by far on the iPad Air 4. It was pretty smooth and I would say just as good as 17. I decided to replace my iPad Air 4 this week for a new one with the M3, but that was mainly because the battery had aged and I needed more storage.

It's completely fine on mine and has been since I installed it in September.

Thanks, I finally updated and I can confirm that iPadOS 18 works very well on the air 4, however I think I will change it soon with a new air M3 because I ran out of storage space and I could still get something with the trade in
