The screen is cracked and I can get it fixed for $100.
It works fast and fine.

The kicker is its refurbished from apple as I got my first one replaced.

It's a 32 GB black AT&T model.

I still have the box and everything.

Should I mention the problems with it?
How should I sell it on eBay?
What's the price point for it?

Thanks!

I don't see how you could ignore the 'problems' with it as the screen is cracked... that's fairly obvious.

There's no difference between new and Apple refurbs.

You can go through eBay, but I've heard far too many horror stories about people getting scammed to do that myself. I'd recommend Craigslist and meeting the buyer in a public place- mall, coffee shop, police station, etc.

You can get the screen replaced for $100, but that's not through Apple and there's no telling if the quality would be as good. You'd likely be better off just going to an Apple store, paying the $150, and getting a brand new phone from them and selling that.

Prices vary, so your best bet would be to hop on Craigs or eBay yourself and see what similar phones are going for.

Good idea with the apple thing.
I don't like craigslist.

If I get a new phone from Apple and put it in my old box, what would it be called?
New refurbished?

Sell it in the condition it is in. Do not invest any more money into the device. Let the buyer decide how he wants to go about fixing it. Be honest in your add, I hate showing up to buy something on CL to find out its not as described. Waste's time and resources...

Subtract the amount to fix it from the going rate of good condition iphones on CL and start from there...

A quick search in the STL cl put the value of a like new 32gb att around $300-$350. If it still works but just cracked, list it for $200 and call it a day.

Thanks for the advice.

I think I'm going to pay $150 at apple for a new one though and put it for a high price on eBay and see what I can get.

If that plan doesn't materialize then your advice will definitely be used.
Thanks again.

I'm going to the apple store in a couple minutes to get a new one for $150.

I'm buying new accessories to put in the box and I'm going to say it was a replacement from apple with no warranty. Complete truth.

I'm putting it on Amazon for $650.

Isn't that what it cost brand new at AT&T or another carrier? If so, that'd make no sense to price it that high as people would just go to a store to buy one.

They don't sell it there though. it's new from apple.

I'm selling my iPhone 4 16GB[AT&T] with the phone, original box and packaging, several cases including otter-box defender, dock and usb cable for $275. Then again mine has no cracks in the glass, either.

Do you guys think someone would buy it for $650 on Amazon?

Could I lower it later?

This is the highest I could go without feeling like I was scalping. It's probably what it would retail for now. -$100 from a year ago.

are you in the US? and you want to sell an iPhone 4(not s) 32gb for $650?
You should do some research, if you really want to get rid of it. It probably goes around $350-450.
But best of luck, my friend. We all want to get the most out of it in a resell.

It's a new replacement from Apple and AT&T unlocked it.

The lowest they go for is $500.
