How would the new Apple leather case hold up if I took it on and off daily?

I may need to take off my iPhone 12 leather case often to play games with a controller. Will this wear down the case over time?

It could end up fraying the edges, I think. Personally, I’d be hesitant to go with the Apple leather case, if I needed to remove it daily.

That’s just my opinion.
