I've seen a few of the On-Demand videos of his show and they were alright, but I wasn't that impressed. I can't say exactly what it is that seems less exciting than say the 90's tv show. I think maybe it's that he's trying too hard and maybe he has so much time to fill with content after his show is done that maybe he's distracted. Either way, I wasn't that impressed with the new show. Just my 2 cents.
a fairly perverse and sloppy guy with a radio show which became quite a controversy, thus became quite large and turned into a TV show and a movie. (Movie is called "Private Parts" if that is any indication)Chundles said:

His excess is very late 80's/90's. It seemed more permissible in an era that didn't call for such radical politics.

Arty is the key to that show.
