How's dark mode in Big Sur?

Any real improvements? I've always found dark mode in Mojave and Catalina to be far too hard on my eyes, even though I love the dark mode implementation on Windows 10 and Android. So is Bur Sur dark mode any easier on eye strain? It's something a screen shot can't tell you.

Slightly darker in preparation for micro LED or OLED displays with better defined outlines. If you already have an OLED monitor it ‘might’ result in some energy savings.
