I’m not experiencing battery drain like the ones others are complaining about but noticeably, my one year old 13P and 13PM outperform my 14PM especially my 14P. Not using AOD.

13P/PM - 1 to 2% battery drain in 12 hours

14P/PM - 4 to 5% battery drain in 12 hours

same set up for all phones.

My 14PM was not getting quite as good battery performance than my 13PM did at first but after a week or so, I have to say that my 14PM is as good if not slightly better then my 13PM.

On my 14 Pro Max, With always on display turned on, the battery life is defo lower than 13 Pro Max. But then I also had the weather as my wallpaper.

Weather wallpaper had an impact on my 14 Pro, even without that wallpaper battery life was disappointing.

Exchanged it for a 14 Pro Max and don’t use the weather wallpaper. After a week I’ve seen noticeable improvement. Yesterday I unplugged at 9:15 AM at 98% and went to bed at 12:15 AM. I had 61% battery left and 4:25 of screen time, and this is with AOD on.

I’m thinking of doing that from today. Not use the weather wallpaper and keep the AOD on to see what happens.

Whenever I get a new device, there's typically a new toy effect where I'm using it more than I normally would because of the novelty. After a few weeks, my usage has settled back to normal and as a result my battery life is about the same or maybe a little better than my 12 Pro. That's with AOD on. AOD goes off if you put your iPhone in your pocket or flip it over anyway.

14PM, excellent battery life.

Just plugged in my phone to the charger at 5% battery life.

11h30 screen on time 😎

My iPhone 14 Pro doesn’t get as good of battery life as my iPhone 13 Pro did, but I think it’s still pretty decent as you can see in the screen shot below. I would say that I end the day about 10% or so lower than I would with the iPhone 13 Pro.

Still, I’ve long felt that FOR ME Apple reached a good point on battery life and that I’d be willing to give some up for features. I’m okay spending battery life on the AOD and haptic keyboard.

Not too bad. It's really good, but Tiktok drains battery like CRAZY lol.

No real issues I had a 11 Pro and it had limited storage and the 14 pro I got had a bit battery drainage issues at first but I waited it out and after the first week battery drainage settled down and the device is working all day with better battery performance in comparison to my old 11 Pro.

Getting around 10 hours screen on time on my 14 Pro, pretty good battery IMO, seems to last a little longer than my 13 Pro ever did.

Adam.

Honestly statistics are pretty meaningless in real world use case because my 10 hour usage may differ from others 10 hour usage. The most important metric people should be using here is can it last through your day?

For comparison sake against my iPhone 12 Pro, daily usage for me on that device would land me somewhere between 15-35% daily when putting it on the charger at night. Even though it's not apples to apples, my 14 Pro Max ends the day between 50 - 65%. There are some days which I consider to have heavy usage and I think I've yet to drop this down below 50%. So for my usage, it's spectacular battery life.

Tracking around 10 hrs SOT as well w/ AOD. I turn off background app refresh etc. I do find audio and video will drain the battery faster than I would like.

10 hours screen ON time... are you sure?!
Yes 10 hours usage time, this is mainly safari, Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, iMessage and messenger. I take it off charge about 3-5am and with 10 hours usage I can get to about 10pm on the night till I need to put it on charge, rest of the time is standby with AOD off.

I also disable a lot of the background stuff and some of the system services in location services, always have done and battery has always been great for me.
