So I bought a beige apple leather case fir my 6 plus on launch day, within days the outer skin started to peel off, the corners and the front edge are now completely rubbed off, I went to the Apple store just now and the manager said he's happy to replace it today but since it's an expected issue with the leather he can only do it once. Well, my month old iPhone looks like it's very badly aged with that case so I asked if I can get the silicon version instead and he said yes. So I walked out with a new red silicon case instead because it doesn't feel like it will peel off easjly like it's leather counterparts. (they gave a a 10 dollar refund for the price difference too.)
How's your Apple case treating you? Holding strong or are you looking for an alternative?

I had he silicone case since launch day and really had no issues with it other than taking a small slice/divet out of the lip along the screen when trying to remove the case. If you're going to be removing that case don't slide your finger or finger nail along the sides to assist in getting the case off.

Picked up a black Apple leather case last week and so far it's as as good as new. My phone either resides in a front jeans or shirt pocket or sits on a table/desk top so nothing that would cause any type of severe wear.

Had the black leather case for two weeks, couldn't justify the price tag, took it back for a refund and phone has been naked since. Cases have never been my thing on any iPhone.

Apple leather cases always look horrible after a few days unless black. Not worth

ive had my Midnight Blue case since launch and it looks amazing. i did add some armor all leather conditioner so leather is nice and protected.

I like this idea. I've also heard people use leather conditioner on their cases. Might try that as well.

best thing about it is since the blue dye is infused onto the leather the dye itself doesnt bleed or wear off. i rubbed quite a good amount of armor all and dye stayed intact.

Got a black leather case for my iPhone 6 when i got it. Had it for a week now and it still looks good as new.

Mine (midnight blue) is showing some wear at corners and some scratches (my bad) but looks good to me. No staining or discoloration on edges.. I pre-treated with Lexol cleaner/conditioner and clean it every couple of weeks using same product.

I love the way this case fits/looks/feels on my Plus. This is my first Apple case ever and I've had all iPhones since 4.

If it was some wearing at corners I wouldn't really care, but its got to a point where if you look at the front of the phone, the edge of the case is literally all nothing but the dark brown material underneath the skin. When I flip the phone on its back, oh boy, I think my iPhone 2G looks newer. And I haven't dropped it, haven't done anything to it, it's probably from sliding inside and outside of my jean. (and I know I shouldn't with my 6 plus, but I wear a lot of skinny jeans :p:p)

It seems like a beige case problem then, because my iPhone 5S case even after a very bad drop, is still looking new. I mean, the corner of my 5S is chipped but the case is fine. My friend's black leather 5S case is also working like Apple quality.

Anyway, red silicone it is for now until I find a very good, awesome, switch worthy 3rd party case.

For the leather case, the lighter it is, the more it will show when it's worn. I'm I currently still using the midnight blue for my SG plus; it still looks good. I thought about getting the brown case before. I really like how the worn brown leather looked the iphone 5. Anyone with the brown can take some pics. The worn brown leather look gives off a rugged look that I like :).

Personally, I hate black iPhones, although I have no problem with black case. My black iPhone 5s (got it on launch day, waited in line for it so was stuck with it, call me an idiot) looks amazingly solid with that black case, but I hated it because the black front panel.

Now that my 6 plus is gold, it doesn't look good on a black case. I asked the Apple specialist for suggestion between a red or a beige, he said within a snap of fingers to go with beige.

Since I decided to go silicone now, I asked a different specialist's opinion, either a red or white, she said red, which is also one of my fav color, meh, red it is.

Personally I think midnight blue or olive brown go very well with the Gold 6 Plus.

I had bought the Red Apple leather case for my 5s and not long after it started to turn ugly. The color started wearing out, it would get the dye color from my jeans. It was looking horrid.

Do you have pics of your Leather case that we can see? Would be nice to see what it looks like a few weeks after use. I have the Olive Brown version and it seems OK, though I haven't really used it as much but it's definitely the most vulnerable and easily-worn case I have ever had.

Actually for this year, the black iphone was more sought after. I had to wait a good 2 weeks later after day of pre-order to receive one. It was all because of the demand of space grey for the 6 plus was so high. I personally love the seamless look of all black, with such a big phone, media display looks more immersive without the white tops and bottoms.
