Mine doesn't seem to be as good as the original. For instance, my son played with it for about 3 hours straight on a recent car trip and it showed 30% life (from 100%). Is this normal?

depends on what app u were using. 3D games make battery run out faster! (about 15-20%/hour, i think!)

Was the brightness turned way up because of glare from the sun in the car? High brightness is a sure battery sucker.

Great. I have everything turned on (push, brightness 100%) and I could leave this thing unplugged for 3-4 days before I needed to plug it in again. Heavy usage at these settings wield at least 6 hours of usage.

Unbelievable. I mostly use it for browsing, email, iPod music, a little bit of YouTube and maybe some Angry Birds. Getting 10 hours on a charge, or more. I keep the brightness down. Mostly wifi, but some 3G. I generally charge it every other day.

Battery life on my ipad is pretty good. I use it a lot during the day (websites, note taking, youtube, BT keyboard) and I can get about a day and a half out of it without charging. By that time I'm down to about 20%. I usually put it in airplane mode when I'm not using it. That seems to save a lot of the battery.

My iPad 2 is generally stellar, but feels a tad worse since the iOS 4.3.3 update. I haven't measured and am not 100% sure, but it feels like it dipped a bit since that update.

MIne is great. It was probably the biggest reason I bought the ipad. You just gotta have good battery life and the iPad is the BEST!
