Great. When I first got my 7, I charged it for a full 24 hours before setting it up. Haven't gone past 60% in two days.

My 7+ battery lasts a little longer than my 6+. Around 10-12 hour with moderate usage with 45% battery to spare.

Apart from WhatsApp* being a bit of a battery drain it's pretty good so far.

I've turned background refresh off

It's good. I recently recorded an entire local concert in 1080p HD 30fps with the lowest brightness setting and airplane mode on. After 1 hour, I still had 75% battery life which means you can get around 4 hours of 1080pHD 30fps just on the standard battery (with lowest brightness and airplane mode on). That is pretty awesome in my opinion as I had androids that would barely get an hour of HD recording at these settings before powering off (and also heating up like crazy). The iPhone 7 remained cool the entire time.

Mine can get 2 days with moderate use. My SE though is crazy good with moderate use. I can squeeze three days sometimes. I define moderate use as phone calls, texts, email, and light web surfing.

Mine goes through 3 days with moderate use

I definitely noticed the battery increase with the iPhone 7 Plus with an additional two hours. Even over my 6S plus.

My 7 will do three days easily with the kind of moderate usage you describe

I use it heavily for work but still manage to make it thru the day without charging on most days. 7AM-11PM kind of thing. Sometimes have to charge it a bit when I get home from work if it's around 20% or so. Definitely better than my 6S. My 6S battery was going downhill the last few months I had it, come to find out later it was one of the models in the battery replacement program.
