Hello,
I have an HP 1150 printer hooked up to my windows server. I am trying to connect to it on my iBookG4, however, there isn't an HP 1150 driver listed under the printer list. I tried to install the driver from the HP website, but HP 1150 still didnt show up in the printer list. Can someone help me with this?

Do you perhaps have the CD (Mac Version) that came with the printer? I have a quite old HP printer and used the CD it came with to use it with my Mac Mini.

Re: Hp 1150

No, i dont have the CD, but I did find the drivers on the HP website, however, when i installed them, nothing changed.

Hello,

The drivers that ship with HP printers like yours are intended to be used with a USB connection. They do not work with printers connected to Windows servers. For such connections, you need a CUPS driver for your printer.
