HP 2175 Scanning Help!!!!!

I recently got the HP 2175 all in one to use with the USB/rendezvous airport express option. It prints fine wirelessly, I even got it to work on my win comp wirelessly. The problem I have now is: How do I use the rest of the features? I cant scan in a file without installing the software, i can't install the software without it seeing the printer and round and round we go. What do I do?? Is it even possible to scan in a file wirelessly through the airport usb port??
