It works decently using the vga port. (dvi is being used by ps3)

The resolution doesn't seem to be changing on the 2207 monitor.

When i check the display setting i am given two windows for the color lcd and the 2207. The 2207 isnt able to run in any resolution higher than 1024 by 768. Any way on upping the resolution?

It seems to just 'stretch' whats on my lcd ibook screen onto the 2207.

so there isn't a way for the ibook resoultion to stay the same but change what it says in the hp 2207 window? sorry if this is what the hack does, i havent looked at it yet.
I believe the hack just changes a value in Open Firmware that allows you to screen span instead of mirroring.

thanks a ton! this is better than what i was trying to do!

one small problem. when i take a movie into the higher resolution screen area. it skips a tad. doesn't do this on the reg monitor. is my laptop just not 'fast enough' to run a movie fully in that resolution?

it's a file on the hard drive btw, not straight off a disk.
