Not an apple display, I know, but not sure of the correct forum. Anyways, I have the HP 2511x as an external display. I have been trying to get it to work with my rMBP but with no luck. I want to use it in clamshell mode. I have the Apple wireless keyboard paired with the rmbp and it's connected via HDMI but as soon as I put the top down, the screen goes to sleep. I usually press Escape and the external screen pops up briefly before going back to sleep. Installing NoSleep on the rmbp doesn't seem to help either. Are there any tricks to getting this monitor to work properly?
