HP 3500 Postscript solution

I'm printing to a HP Color Laserjet 3500. It doesn't seem to handle Postscript out of the box. Is there a way to have my Mac Pro interpret the postscript on all printjobs shooting out to the 3500? If not, is there a recommended RIP software, I can install on a spare PC to handle the Postscript. I can't seem to find any information regarding this issue. Thank you!

It seems that mac doesn't want to read theprinter depsite it having installed the printer drivers for the 3500.... does the solution you mention in linux foundation address this problem as well.... thanks for your help..... ron

Did you install the HP driver for MacOS X 10.6?
