Bought this a week ago. It installed without any problems. I'm using OS-X and it worked. I looked into support for VUESCAN, and was told it was not supported. This is not an issue with me. (Right now at least) I'm not working with any hi-res material, just some photo's and text for making my own sales brouchures. There is not much in documentation, but the software that is on the supplied CD has all the how to files. The photo's that I scaned were very good. For the money, around ~ 75.00 to 80.00 U$, its a bargin. But with most products, time will tell. I just hope HP continues in supporting the OS-X and Mac environments.
