The printer gives the error to check the color printer cartridge. I already exchanged both cartridges at Best Buy. The old error said the cartridge was incompatible. Now I get the other error.
If I open the printer cover and reseat the cartridge, it works. I'm not sure if I should give up on it or not (it is old after all and does not support air print).
