We have an HP 8000n That we connect to using simple IP printing. We have the latest drivers, as well as the latest firmware for the printer.

All of the computers currently printing to it are G4s of various levels, running 10.2.8

Our problem is weird..... Printing simple text documents, or even basic graphics is a breeze, and these documents print just fine. However, when we attempt to print complex images (such as those from quark or photoshop) the printer spits out pages and pages of single lined garbage. Our PC's can print to this printer just fine, but for some reason the MACs just seem to throw out garbage.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
David

The LaserJet 8000n is a PostScript 1 printer. MacOS X 10.x explicitly does not support PostScript 1.
