I'm a recent convert back to Macs I used to use years ago. I'm sure there's probably a way of doing this, I just can't figure out what it is. I have an HP PSC 2175 All-in-one inkjet printer connected to my iMac G5. There must be a way of having the printer tell me how much ink is remaining in the cartridges. In the PC world I'm pretty sure you look at the properties of the printer and it gives you a visual of how much ink is remaining. I just can't figure out how to get that on my iMac

Thanks for any help....

Go to Utilities > Printer Setup Utility and your printer list will come up. Select the printer you want info on, make sure it's connected to your computer, and select Utility in the menu bar. Printer ink levels should appear there.

hp.com

You might need to go to hp.com and download the software for your printer. But you might also check the print setup utility and check to see if you can check your ink level through the utility in the menu...

Edit: iSaint beat me to it.
