I cannot figure out how to set up my HP printer to print wirelessly from my Macbook with bluetooth. I bought the HP bt500 adapter and plugged it into my printer, but my Macbook can't seem to discover the bluetooth. Any thoughts or suggestions would help.

Thanks

I don't have a bluetooth printer...
The only way it will work is if in Print & Fax > More Printers, there is an HP driver available (probably HP bluetooth, or some similar name). Is that there?

HP BT 500 printing with bluetooth

I just got one of these and connected it to my g5 tower. You have to put the bt500 in the pictbridge/usb port on the printer, then select >print/fax in the hardware section of system prefs, then setup printers, add new printer and follow the instructions. You ALSO have to have a bluetooth dongle or receiver on your computer, then click set up new device and enter a passcode, usually 0000, it should then work as it did for me
