hp c3180 and mac os x

HI all - dont really know where to post this so here will do...

Does anyone here have the above combination working and happy?

apple talk allows it to print, but after installing the cd its says the scanner could not be found.

I tried to find a driver update with no success - let me know - I wont have my printer/scanner ruin my leopard experience.

last time i donloaded this my printer wasnt in the list of ones to choose from - I'll try again and just choose the closest model -

it cant make it not work more than it already doesnt (eeerm or something like that)
