HP C4480 Scanner Problem

Hi, I searched around and couldnt find anything so sorry if this has been asked.

Whenever I try and scan in a full page of A4 the scanner decides to only scan in a little square of the page as opposed to the full page.

Please can someone help :(

Also, I have a BT Home Hub, is there anyway I can connect it up to that and have it as a shared printer?

EDIT: After about 3 hours of messing around, I can find the computer that the printer is shared from on my iMac, but not the printer. Help. Please.
