I have the above printer, and am wondering if it's possible to use it with a mac ?

Short answer is yes .. Just buy HP branded toner.. generic toner will clog up the printer.... toner in the box is half-filled (like 1200 pages) vs. 2500 pages per toner unit.. If you do a 5% coverage per page (draft printing) then you'll get up to 3000 pages + per full unit ...


before you install the toner into printer, Gotta shake the toner east - west direction while holding it the level..

Well on HP's site they say, "Supported operating systems Windows 2000; Windows XP Home; Windows XP Professional; Windows Server 2003; Windows Vista(TM) Ready" for that particular printer.

However, I have had several HP printers and they have all worked with my Macs.

eta: I just looked around the site and some printers work with Macs, and some don't, apparently?
