HP Color Laserjet CM 1312 MFP / Won't Scan!

Hi guys,

I have been on the phone to HP for days they are blaming my computer but really it doesn't sound right... Brand new iMac, and a brand new CM1312... I have plugged it directly into the back of the computer via the USB the computer sees it and there is no problem with printing... BUT using the HP Scanner software it cannot see the printer via USB... I used the HP Set Up Wizard and when it comes to the screen asking to find the USB or Network printer it can't see it under USB, EVEN THOUGH IT PRINTS VIA USB... Has anyone had this issue before? Am I better off using an ethernet cord?

Hi, you need to select de HP setup assistant in the aplication folder and get info (Apple Key+I) and check de "open using Rosetta Box". Open the HP Setup Assistant and now you see de printer via USB and all work perfect!!!

that doesn't work for me.

Currently I cannot find a solution for scanning with HP CM1312 on Snow Leopard.
