HP Deskjet 2540 won't print colour

Hello,

I bought this printer yesterday that came with a b&w and colour cartridge.

No matter how I try I can't get it to print colour, although it can print a test page or photocopy in colour fine.

I have played around with all the settings for hours but no luck.

I'm wondering if anyone can give me some tips to try to resolve this as i'm wasting all of the ink trying to.

Try resetting the printing system by going to Print & Scan and ctrl clicking in the white. Then re-add the printer. It may be a setting on the printer itself rather than the computer! Be sure to quote me to get a response.
