I'm assisting one of our clients who has recently purchased a MacBook Air, which is running OSX 10.9 (Mavericks).

The client has an HP OfficeJet Pro L7400 inkjet printer connected to the Mac, but it will only print in black and white. It won't print anything in colour.

The HP website advises that you just have to connect the printer to the Mac for it to work. We checked on the HP website and the only update available for OSX is a driver patch which we have installed - but this made no difference.

The printer works fine when printing colour from a Windows computer. Ink levels are all good.

All of the latest OSX updates are installed. There aren't any 'print in black or white or colour' options within the printer settings.

Has anyone encountered similar issues? Is there a fix?

Thanks in advance.
