Have you tried HP's website? I believe that the driver for the LJ 1020 is not available for OS 9.

I did, but it doesn't show any drivers for the 1020 specifically. Only Windows. I found out that the 1022 drivers are supposed to work. I downloaded the OSX drivers for that unit, and it says for the 1020 priinter, but it just doesn't work. If I've found one problems with mac's it printing. I've always had a tough time adding printers.

Hummmm, I downloaded the 1022 drivers again. Shut everything down, rebooted, reinstalled and now it's working. I'll never shut the mac down again!!!!!<g>.
