HP LaserJet 1200 on strike

My HP LaserJet 1200 printer doesn't want to print anything. It started with a website that wanted to use a shred of JavaScript; this proved indigestible.

Since then it's got more and more stubborn about printing things. Now it won't even print PDFs.

Is there anything I can do?

It's plugged into my G4 PowerBook running Panther, with a gig of memory.

I've have bunch of nightmares with my Canon, Brother and Epson printers, software and hardware issues.

Here's what was wrong:

- Printer driver was messed up. Re-installed the lastest printer driver.

- Printer driver was messed up. Removed the old printer drive and re-installed a fresh driver.

- Sent them to the manufacturer and fixed hardware.

... well these are really foundamental stuff, but worked for me

I wish printer driver files on OS X were as easy to deal with as in OS 9.

that is good advice

i'd just use the drivers that came with os x. remove its from the printer list and reinstall the printer. if that don't work.
