HP LJ P1505 or P1005/P1006 drivers

Up to about a week ago HP had version 1.0.4 of HP drivers for the Laserjet P1505 (which is the same install as for P1005/P1006) on their website for download. I didn't download as I had not purchased the printer.

The printer comes with version 1.0.2 software drivers.

Now I can't find 1.0.4 drivers on the HP website, in fact, you can't download Mac drivers for those models. Anyone have the drivers and can send to me? So far no reply from HP on why the Mac drivers are no longer available for download.

You are misrepresenting the HP website. The drivers for the LaserJet P1505 are available for MacOS X 10.2, 10.3, and 10.4, but are not downloadable. They are available only on a CD that HP will send to you for the cost of shipping. There is no requirement that you have bought the printer.
 
How am I misrepresenting the HP site, I said it was not available for DOWNLOAD and I wanted to DOWNLOAD and it was available for DOWNLOAD previously ... I think this means I want to download not order on a CD :)

Yes, it did (does) work.

I have not yet upgraded to Snow Leopard, so I'm not sure what's gonna happen there. Please let me know if you try that route.
 
The Laserjet P1005,P1006,P1505 and P1505n do not work with snow leopard.
Hp is working on a driver for snow leopard

I bought a P1505 today in Oklahoma, USA. Works fine with Snow Leopard 10.6.2 for me. When I connected the printer and powered it up, I got a prompt asking if I wanted to get the latest driver. I did, it installed, and works fine.

Here's the info from my machine:

Driver for HP P1005

SaudiMac - Just to point something out. JonKerfoot says that his P1505 is working great with SnowLeopard, which is fine, but not completely a guarantee that the P1005 will. (You would think, but I've been burned making assumptions like that in the past)

As to me and my P1005 - I still haven't upgraded to Snow Leopard so I still can't speak to the issue.

I have the laserjet P1005 and it works perfectly under snow leopard

never had a problem with the drivers downloaded from HP website
 
Still no luck...

I am also looking for some help. I have the p1006, and like most I was able to connect and print wireless through my airport. After snow leopard, no luck. Any ideas?

As for the link two posts up, I believe those are for xp and PC based OS's.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
P1006 with Snow Leopard

So can anyone confirm that they are using the HP P1006 with Snow Leopard and it works fine for USB and WiFi printing ?

I found this, which makes it sounds like it should work without downloading any additional drivers, but since I don't have Snow Leopard, I can't tell.

(I'm holding off upgrading until I know that it is working for sure)
